Twist and Shout Creations
My best friend Kristy introduced me to tie dyeing, well the art of it. I have loved tie dye since my childhood days of going to the Health and Harmony Fair in Santa Rosa, California. My mom took us yearly and her treat to my sister and I each year was something tie dyed, we had dresses, bathing suits, skirts, shirts and on and on.
Tie Dyeing is almost therapeutic to me. Sitting on my living room floor, listening to music tying the clothes, standing in my quiet kitchen dyeing and then rinsing it out is my oh, so favorite part. As Kristy says, “it is like Christmas”, you open up the shirt and honestly you don’t know what you are going to find.
I like to be adventurous with colors and designs, as well as what I dye. For the first time I tie dyed crib sheets and WOW! that was so much fun and they turned out so good, if I might say so.
I must say that being a mommy comes before my tie dyeing. Sometimes things come up and the dyeing just doesn’t get done. I am priding myself in being able to balance my family and being a WAHM (work @ home mom). But I hope that if your tie dye take a little longer than you thought, you will understand

You forgot to mention that you are an incredible mother, and an awesome daughter that I am so proud of sometimes that I feel as though I might burst…
